YOU’RE INVITED to celebrate Shavuot on Thursday evening, May 28, starting at 8:00 pm EDT, with a group of amazing teachers and our fabulous and growing online community.
Shavuot is the festival that marks the Giving of the Torah. To honor the Torah, the custom arose (in mystically-inclined 16th century Tzefat) to celebrate the holiday with a Tikkun Leil Shavuot: a night of immersion in the intellectual and spiritual endeavor of Torah study.
We’re delighted to host a fun and meaningful evening featuring these fabulous teachers:
RABBI ELLIE MILLER is the rabbi of MakomNJ—a new kind of Jewish community, based in Morristown, NJ.
DANNY SIEGEL is a nationally renowned educator, author, and poet. He is the author of over 30 books, and a recipient of the prestigious Covenant Award for Jewish education.
RABBI ERIC GURVIS is the Director of Chaverim and Engagement at The Mussar Institute, and the rabbi of Sha’arei Shalom in Ashland, MA.
RABBI NEAL GOLD is the creator of A Tree with Roots, an online platform for Jewish learning, and the Jewish Chaplain/Hillel Director at Babson College.
The program starts at 8:00 pm EDT, and each of us will teach for 30 minutes, with fun interludes interspersed throughout. Of course, you’re invited for some or all of the evening—no need to commit to the entire program. A detailed schedule of the night will be available in the days ahead.
Thank you! The registration for this event has now closed.
